The included book is full of building ideas, assembly hints, step-by-step illustrations and directions so simple, even a Muggle could follow them.

Pieces missing by K. Mittu
The building cards are nice and strong. However, when my daughter tried to build the simplest castle (from the direction book), we realized that she was missing pieces. We called the manufacturer and they were very helpful and sent us a replacement set. Other than that, we’ve been very happy with the set.

I purchased this item for my 11 year old daughter, who is a big Harry Potter fan and she is really enjoying it. She loves building the castle (although we are not yet finished) Things to note about the toy, there are a LOT of really tiny pieces so you need a good size space to work on, the instructions require you to flip back and forth between pages which is cumbersome and sometimes they are not easy for an 11 year old to follow without help. Younger kids may need help building it depending on how good they are with instructions, but it will defintely keep an 11-13 yr old busy for a while, the castles can take hours to build depending on how fast you work and how complicated you want it. It also makes a great family time activity as everybody can build parts of it at the same time. Kids who love building will like this toy, even if they aren’t Harry Potter fans. Overall, I recommend the toy as a good value and lots of fun.
